We know that as a first time home buyer, all the paperwork, guidelines, and programs can seem a bit confusing at first. However, If you have an experienced realtor by your side to thoroughly answer all your questions along the way, the home buying experience becomes a whole lot easier.

After more than 20 years of successfully taking care of clients’ needs, I have mastered the ability to watch out for the best interests of the clients I work for. I genuinely love working in Real Estate, educating others, negotiating, and building lasting relationships with the home buyers/sellers I work with.

Today I would love to educate you on what basic steps you need to take before you began house hunting for your dream home.

Let’s get started!

Check & Improve Credit

Your credit score is the most important factor lenders will look at when approving you for a mortgage. A credit score gives the lender an idea of how fiscally responsible you are and how well you’ll be paying back that monthly mortgage payment. This is why it’s so crucial to stay on top of keeping your credit as clean as possible.

You can get a free copy of your credit report once a year at www.annualcreditreport.com

Pre-Approved

Before you can really can start doing some serious house hunting, you will need that Pre-Approval letter. This letter just lets sellers know that you have the income requirements met to make an offer on their home. Lenders will need some basic income documentation in order to get one started for you.

Pick an experienced realtor

Choosing a local, top notch realtor is so imperative to ensuring everything runs smoothly. I’ve lived in the East Valley my whole life and know everything there is to know about the communities here. With extensive experience in negotiating, I’ll always negotiate the best possible deal. My top priority is ensuring the best bottom line for my clients with each and every real estate transaction.

Over the years I’ve helped many clients sell and buy their dream homes. Click here to see all my reviews and testimonials!
